By Greg Perkins The Wildcats know they had a tough task when they were scheduled for a trip to Williams to face the 6-1 Vikings. Williams proved worthy of their top five ranking at the 1A level. Joseph City entered the game ranked 18th, but their 60-8 loss to Williams may drop them down a few notches heading into this week’s action. This week the Wildcats will be back on the road for a long trip to Fredonia taking on the 1-4 Lynx. Fredonia is ranked 13th overall, and a win would give the Wildcats playoff hopes a boost. Joseph City’s final game of the regular season will be vs top ranked Mogollon on Oct. 15, so a win this week is critical in terms of post season hopes for 2-4 Joseph City.
