The Wildcats were soundly beaten on the road at St. Johns last Tuesday night, where a slow start ended in a 75-37 loss.

The Redskins scored 48 first half points to double up Joseph City. The third period was similar as St. Johns continued to pile on the points. Finally in the fourth the Cats held the home team to single digits, but the game was well under St. Johns’ control at that point.

On Thursday Joseph City bounced back with a six-point road win at St. Michael, taking care of the Cardinals 63-57.

The Wildcats’ home game on Tuesday against Round Valley was to be their final game prior to Christmas. Following the holidays the Cats will resume regular season action when they host Northland Prep on Jan. 6. Joseph City headed into Tuesday’s game with a 3-6 record.
