By Greg Perkins Hosting Mayer on Friday night, the Wildcats put 48 points on the board and gave up just two scores to the visiting Wildcats for a 48-14 home field win. The win was the Wildcat’s second of the season, leaving them with a season mark of 2-4 heading into this week’s match up with Williams. The Vikings are traditionally a very good football team and this year is no exception. They come into the game with a 5-1 record, having won four straight including their 56-0 road win at Fredonia on Friday. Since Williams has returned to the 1A ranks they have defeated Joseph City in six straight years. The last five of those meetings have not been close with Williams outscoring Joseph City a combined 340-34 points. This year’s game will be played in Williams.
