The Joseph City boys’ cross country team finished 11th at the Shane Morris Invitational held last Saturday at Woodland Park in Lakeside.
Talon Smith represented the Wildcats well, placing third overall in the varsity race with a time of 15:25.15. Jacob Bushman was 47th; Kovascics Kinlicheenie, 76th; Kaden Moss, 90th; and Rex Ballew, 123rd.
In the girls’ varsity race, Kaylie Gardner finished 24th with a time of 22:56.08. Katrina Heaton was 53rd and Kayla Parra was 65th.
In the junior varsity boys’ race, Christian Williams placed 103rd.
