Members of Holbrook Elks Lodge No. 2450 and Chalcedony Lodge No. 6, F&AM, of Holbrook will join together again this year to participate in their annual Clothe-A-Child Shopping Spree on Saturday, Dec. 19. The Masons provide a breakfast for all participants prior to the bus ride to Walmart in Winslow, where the kids and adult helpers shop for one complete outfit for the child. Forty kids will be taken on the trip this year, and organizers could use any volunteers who would like to join in this fun and rewarding event. After the shopping, all the kids and their families are invited to the Elks Lodge for Lunch With Santa, which includes lunch, a stuffed animal and goodie bag, and sitting on Santa’s knee and whispering your wish list to him. This year, Jana Young will be there to provide face painting for the kids. Please contact the Elks Lodge or the Masonic Lodge if you want to volunteer.
