Two individuals have submitted letters of interest to fill a vacancy on the Holbrook Council; Kip Woolford, a longtime resident and Kirby Myers, who is relatively new to the area from Overgaard. The city charter states that council members must have physically resided in the City of Holbrook for at least two years preceding the date of such election or appointment. It is unclear if Myers has met that requirement. The letters will be reviewed by the council for selection in the meeting to be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25.
