Holbrook Unified School District student Tucker Orton had a phenomenal performance at the National Hoop Shoot Competition in Chicago in the 8–12-year-old category! Tucker stepped onto the big stage and locked in, sinking a stellar 20 out of 25 free throws.
Competing at the national level takes more than just skill, it takes Roadrunner nerves of steel, hours of practice and a true competitive spirit. Tucker showed all three, representing HUSD school and community with class and precision. Tucker has a chance to return to the free throw line for three more years in the Elks Hoop Shoot Competition.
