Snowflake’s volleyball team put together an unbeaten regular season before being upended in the semi-final round of the 3A state tournament. Part of their impressive season was their steamroll through the East Region.
Snowflake’s Alan Ramage was named the Region Coach of the Year, and Lanee Penrod was selected as the East Region Defensive Player of the Year.
Due to their dominating performance three players were recognized with all region selections.
Lanee Penrod, libero, and Janessa Elkins, setter, were both named to the First Team All-Region squad. Chloe Lyman, hitter and middle blocker, was selected to the Second Team All-Region unit.
Sydney Bauer and Reagan Olsen were both selected to the honorable mention team.
