Todd Alan Rogers
Todd Alan Rogers was born on Jan. 25, 1966, in Winslow to David C. Rogers and Carol (Rogers) Policy. Todd departed this life on Sunday morning May 8, 2022, in Siloam Springs, Ark., from a massive heart attack at the age of 56 years.
He grew up in Holbrook and moved to Oklahoma to work with his dad after high school. Later he moved back to Arizona and worked for a concrete mixing company. In 1987 when his brother Mike got out of the Navy, they both moved back to Oklahoma.
He worked construction and as a mechanic, then owned Briggs Grocery with his new bride Gloria Webb Rogers. Early 1993, he started driving a truck then he moved to Phoenix and ran his own trucking company. He also started Fantastic Frames in Holbrook making custom picture frames. Some of the artwork he framed is in the Old Courthouse which is now a museum, and Northland Pioneer College.
Todd moved back to Tahlequah about 2012 and built portable sheds and chicken coops with his brother Tim. In November of 2017 he had a stroke and wasn’t able to work after that happened.
Todd enjoyed cooking, especially smoking meat with Matilda his wood smoker. He loved to have people over for a barbecue.
Survivors include Todd’s most precious diamond, his son Nick who has turned out to be a great young man. Todd loved him more than life itself and was one proud daddy of all Nick’s great accomplishments. His mom, Carol Policy of Holbrook; brothers, Michael Rogers and Tim Rogers of Gideon, Okla.; sisters, Michelle Henson and Marie Hayes of Holbrook; and a host of family and friends too numerous to count.
He was preceded in death by his dad, David C. Rogers; both maternal and paternal grandparents, and his little brother Matt.
Hart Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
