For over 110 years The Tribune-News has provided full coverage of the news and events for the communities of Holbrook, Winslow and the surrounding areas. The Silver Creek Herald has done the same for the communities of Snowflake and Taylor. For the past 49 years the Barger family has produced first the Holbrook Tribune-News then The Tribune-News and now, as of Aug. 9, the name will be changing to The Tribune and become a single news publication that will include coverage of Snowflake and Taylor.
The Tribune will also have a new location as of Aug. 9. The current office at 200 E. Hopi Drive in Holbrook will be moving to 804 W. Florida St. in Holbrook and there is also an office at 401 W. Third St. in Winslow. In addition, reporters are in each of the communities served by The Tribune to ensure the same coverage of meetings, news and events important to your community.
While the Silver Creek Herald will no longer be published after Aug. 1, subscribers from that region will have access to the same news they’ve had before and much more. In addition, subscribing members for all communities will have full access to the website, TribuneNewsNow.com, to view not only the latest news, but also back issues for stories that may have been missed.
As always, the staff of The Tribune is seeking ways to better serve the people of Navajo County and to keep you informed of what is important to you. For more information contact The Tribune staff at (928) 524-6203.
