With the theme, A Candy Land Christmas, 41 entries took part in the Holbrook Parade of Lights last Saturday. A lot of work was put into the entries for the parade making for stiff competition for awards. Northland Pioneer College won Best Overall Entry for their elaborate and festive float. Navajo County won the Best Theme Award for their sweet looking float, while Fed Ex took the Most Creative Entry award for their float. The Desierto de Colores dancers took the Best Youth Award and Arizona Public Service lit up the parade route winning the Best Spirit Award.
