Five years ago Jimmy Crosby started the Arizona Livestock Camp in Holbrook, and every year it gets bigger and better. This year the camp was one of the biggest that they’ve had with a total number of 60 participants, including 19 beef kids, 23 lamb kids, 10 swine kids and nine goat kids. It was a great turnout with the youth, and there great clinicians who worked with them. This year organizers secured several sponsors from throughout Arizona to help provide prizes, lunches and fun activities for the kids. They would like to thank all of the sponsors that helped out this year with the Arizona Livestock Camp. Camp organizers are already working on next year’s camp and Jackpot Show. They plan to make it bigger and better for youth who would like to participate. They also would like to give special thanks to the Navajo County Fair Board for letting them use the facilities at no cost and working with them throughout the week.
