The Holbrook Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating and identifying a man who went to Holbrook Junior High School at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, and asked to check out two students using first names only in order to provide free haircuts. When the staff was suspicious of his request, he was questioned further and then left the building and the area.
Police Chief Mark Jackson stated that officers were called to the school and searched the area for the individual. While searching the school, another call was received that a suspicious man was seen at Holbrook High School. The school was placed on lockdown for approximately 20 minutes while police began searching the grounds. They were then informed that there was a communication error at the school and that the subject had never been there.
The subject never gained entry into HJHS due to the school’s security measures.
He is identified as between 5’7” and 6’ tall, slight build, possibly white or Hispanic, with a full beard. If you see this person do not approach him. Call dispatch at (928) 524-4050 so that an officer can respond.
