The regular Snowflake Men’s Golf Club outing took place last Thursday. The low gross winner was Tom Black with a score of 82. A second place tie went to Mark McDonald with a score of 83 and third place to Don Ottmann with an 84. The low net winner was Lloyd Wolfe with a score of 66. Second place went to Bill Laduke with a 67 and third place to Daryl Doyle with a 68. Skins winners with a handicap below 20 included, Mark McDonald on holes No. 14 and 16; Don Ottmann, No. 6 and 7; Tom Black, No. 2; and Howard Loyd, No. 11. Skins winners with a handicap of 20 and above included: Lloyd Wolfe on holes No. 2, 6, 7, 8 and 16; Tom Bergman, No. 16; Gene Lippard, No. 14; Thane Weigand, No. 4; and Richard Yanez, No. 1. The lone chip-in pot winner was Gene Lippard on hole No. 14. Last Wednesday’s gross score winner was Allen Graham with a score of 37; second place went to Gary Crandell with a 40. The net score winner was Howard Loyd with a score of 29.5. Tom Bergman was second with a 32. Wednesday skins winners were Thane Weigand on hole No. 3; Tom Black, No. 5; and Bill Dye, No. 8. Snowflake’s “Walking Wednesday” nine-hole event takes place at 1 p.m., each Wednesday and is open to any golfer who wants to participate. Snowflake Men’s Club plays every week throughout the year.
