Competing in their final cross country meet of the season, Snowflake’s runners fared well, but did not qualify for the state meet slated on Saturday, Nov. 8.
In a field of 114 runners in the boys’ division of the sectional meet held last Friday in Holbrook, Snowflake was paced by John Lunt, who finished 74th with a time of 19:56. McKay Flake was 79th in 20:11; Reese Harris, 100th in 21:51; Manasseh Flake, 101st in 22:01; Kadyn Davis, 102nd in 22:26; Tim Rose, 108th in 23:28; and Abe Flake, 112th in 24:33.
In the girls’ race, Snowflake’s Talia Shumway placed 66th in the field of 102 runners with a time of 24:31.
