Holbrook’s soccer teams were hoping to pick up a few wins this year after both programs were winless last season. Thus far this season, both units are still looking for their initial regular season wins.
The boys’ team sat at 0-3 heading into their home match with Ash Fork/Seligman on Monday of this week. Last week Holbrook fell to Snowflake on Wednesday coming up short with a 8-1 final score. They will host Show Low today (Wednesday) then have a week off to prepare for a trip to Flagstaff to face Basis School.
The girls’ soccer team is currently 0-4 after two losses last week. On Tuesday they played well but fell to the Longhorns 1-0 in Payson. Thursday they welcomed in Page, but fell to the Sand Devils by a final of 9-1. After hosting Payson on Monday of this week they will travel to Snowflake today.
