The Holbrook Police Department has provided an artist’s rendition of the suspect involved in the assault on a Holbrook woman as she was jogging late one evening on Navajo Blvd.
According to the HPD, on April 12 the woman was running along the sidewalk just south of Burger King at approximately 11:35 p.m. when a man approached her on foot and engaged her in conversation. During the conversation the woman became uncomfortable and cut the conversation short. As she continued with her run the man tackled her from behind, taking her to the ground, where she was sexually assaulted. The man suddenly released the woman for an unknown reason then fled the area.
The man is described as between 25 to 30 years old, 5’7” to 5’10”, weighing 175 to 190 lbs. with short spiked dark blonde hair. The suspect was wearing a black T-shirt, beige cargo shorts, and black and white tennis shoes.
