The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of Feb. 11-17. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 10:57 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, Britain Peters, 44, of Phoenix, was arrested for possession and/or transportation of a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession and/or use of a narcotic drug, transportation and/or sale of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession and/or use of dangerous drugs, promoting prison contraband, tampering with physical evidence and two counts of failure to appear following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 297 in the Heber area after illegal substances were located. Peters was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 12:41 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11, Savannah Parker, 24, of Show Low, was arrested for possession and/or use of a narcotic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 297 in the Heber area. Parker was booked into the county jail.
At 11:49 a.m. on Sunday, Cesar Cordova Jr., 42, of Show Low, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 297 in the Heber area. Cordova was booked into the county jail.
At 8:53 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, Byron Coates, 55, of Phoenix, was arrested for DUI and an open container violation following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 301 in the Overgaard area. Coates was booked into the county jail.
At 10:48 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, Levi Lynch, 22, of Litchfield Park, was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Tall Timbers in Heber.
At 5:37 p.m. on Friday, Chun-Yu Liu, 30, of Phoenix, was cited and released for criminal speeding following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at Bear Country Lane in Heber.
At 11:38 p.m. on Friday, Michael Fletcher, 46, of Overgaard, was arrested for possession of a weapon by a prohibited possessor after detectives conducted a search warrant on the 3600 block of Zane Grey Trail in Heber. Fletcher was booked into the county jail.
