The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of June 8-14. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 8:04 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, Curtis Jones, 44, of Heber, was arrested for violation of parole after deputies were dispatched to Black Canyon Road and Forest Service Road 86 in the Heber area for a welfare check. Jones was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
