The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of March 2-8. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, Edgar Bencomo, 46, of Overgaard, was arrested for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to the 3200 block of Alkire Road in Overgaard for a welfare check. Bencomo was booked into the county jail.
At 10:15 a.m. on Thursday, David Zemnick, 62, of Overgaard, was arrested for trafficking in stolen property after deputies contacted Zemnick in the Heber/Overgaard area. Zemnick was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aaron Bencomo, 39 of Overgaard, was arrested for theft after deputies made contact with Bencomo in the Heber/Overgaard area. Bencomo was booked into the county jail.
At 4:35 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, Nicole Patino, 49, of Mesa, was arrested for three counts of failure to appear following a traffic stop on State Route 260 in Heber. Patino was booked into the county jail.
