The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of April 14 – May 4. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 7:07 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, Andres Becerra, 37, of Overgaard, was arrested for failure to appear following a traffic stop on State Route 260 at milepost 309 in Overgaard. Becerra was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
At 5:54 p.m. on Friday, May 3, Christopher Jones, 26, of Overgaard, was arrested for failure to comply with a court order after deputies were dispatched to State Route 260 at Mogollon Drive in Heber for a welfare check. Jones was booked into the county jail.
At 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, Travis Boris, 35, of Overgaard, was arrested for disorderly conduct and assault, after deputies responded to the 2800 block of Markham Road in Heber for a report of assault. Boris was booked into the county jail.
