The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 4 July 20-26. Area 4 covers approximately 1,800 square miles, and encompasses the unincorporated areas of Snowflake/Taylor, Shumway, Cedar Hills, White Mountain Lake and Show Low Pines. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by the officers are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt.
At 5:42 p.m. on Friday, July 25, James Overmyer, 52, of Snowflake, was arrested for failure to comply with a court order, failure to appear and unlawful flight from a law enforcement officer following a traffic stop on Concho Highway and Indian Bend Road in Snowflake. Overmyer was booked into the Navajo County Jail.
