Shane Redbird, 38, of Holbrook, passed away Feb. 28, 2024, in Flagstaff. He was born Nov. 15, 1985, in Santa Fe, N.M., to Beatrice Redbird and Valentin Garcia.
Shane has always been a very tender-hearted, caring person. He had a very special love for his mother and his Redbird grandparents. As a boy he loved going to church and playing football. As an adult he really enjoyed fishing, shooting, guns, barbecuing, family get-togethers, Raider’s football, and his dog, “Pettie”.
Shane is survived by his mother, Beatrice Shorty (Sylvester); father, Valentin Garcia (Catalina); siblings, Sheldon and Jessica Redbird, Steven, Chelsey and Talisa Shorty, Marisol, Margarito, and Soledad Garcia; and many other loved family members.
A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, at the First Assembly of God Church, located at 500 Mission Lane, in Holbrook.
Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
