Roger D. Moyta passed away on Feb. 26, 2018. Roger was born on Aug. 16, 1937, to Hilario Moyta and Beatrice Domingues Moyta. Rosary and Mass for Roger will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook. Burial will be at the Holbrook Cemetery following the service. Roger grew up in Holbrook and spent his working years at Holbrook schools as a custodian for 23 years. Roger married Francis Chavez Moyta and they spent many years together enjoying camping and fishing with all their family. Roger will be forever loved and missed dearly. Roger is survived by his son, Oscar (Judy) Vargas; and daughters, Becky Naranjo and Regina Montes. He is also survived by several close family friends and children who loved him. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Francis Chavez Moyta; and his brother, Sosie Montanyo. Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor handled the arrangements.
