Robert “Bob” George Jr., 63, born Dec. 7, 1960, in Connecticut, departed peacefully on Jan. 1, 2024, at his Holbrook Glass Shop.
Bob, who grew up in New England, trained as an apprentice in construction during high school. He specialized in commercial and residential glass and window repair. He worked on numerous high-profile projects and appeared on a TV episode of This Old House.
Bob moved to Arizona in 2005 and called Holbrook his home. Bob was very well known in the community and surrounding areas. Bob was an animal lover and always there to help someone in a pinch. Anyone who truly knew Bob, would agree that, “he took care of others better than himself.” Bob is survived by his family in New England and especially his dear friends and numerous clients in Holbrook.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow handled the arrangements.
