The Birds ramped up their defense holding Payson to just five in the second and their offense put up 20 points. In the third, Kobi Koerperich found the range draining four three-point shots as part of Holbrook’s 24-point period putting them in complete control of the game. Payson outscored the Birds in the fourth but the damage had already been done leaving Holbrook with a 20-point win.
