Izzy Ramos had a huge night scoring four touchdowns. The first score came on Holbrook’s second offensive play when Marcus Oberriter found Ramos for a 70-yard catch and run. Holbrook special teams blocked a Pinon punt, and Ramos scooped it up and landed in the endzone for the Bird’s second score of the night putting them up 12-0 with both PAT kicks missed. The 4-1 Roadrunners will travel to Whiteriver to face the 3-1 Falcons in a critical 2A Little Colorado Region game. The winner of this game will have the upper hand on the playoffs. With both teams still having region favorite St. Johns on their schedules, this game is basically a must-win game for the team wanting to have a chance at the playoffs. The Falcons suffered their first loss of the season last week in a 44-46 shoot-out with Miami. They defeated Pinon by a similar score of 52-0 last week. The last time Holbrook and Alchesay played was six years ago with the Roadrunners prevailing 38-20. Roadrunner fans would certainly hope for a similar outcome this week.
