It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebecca Ann Gallegos, beloved sister, aunt, cherished friend and dedicated educator, who left us peacefully on Jan. 6, 2025. She was born Feb. 12, 1951, in Holbrook
Rebecca dedicated her life to education as a teacher and administrator, touching the lives of countless students. In her free time, she contributed to the Linus Project by making blankets for children who are ill, traumatized or otherwise in need.
Rebecca leaves behind her beloved brother, Isidro (Cece) Gallegos; sisters, Debbie (Johnny) Garcia and Cindy (Doug) Kreie; her partner, Robert Revallion; several nieces and nephews; and a network of friends and family who will forever cherish her memory.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Natividad Gallegos; brother, Phil Gallegos; and sister, Rita Gallegos.
A Rosary will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook, followed by a Mass at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest during a graveside service at Holbrook Cemetery, starting at 11:45 a.m.
