Phyllis Simpson Fischer, 91, passed away, Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, in Eagar. She was born May 24, 1934, in Nutrioso, the daughter of Sherman Willis Simpson and Delora Wilkins.
Phyllis married Howard Fischer on Sept. 17, 1953.
She is survived by her children, Edwin (Joy) Fischer, Vickie (Lester) James, Donald (Penny) Fischer, Jerry (Patricia) Fischer and Shawn (Kenneth) Phillips; 17 grandchildren, Sharette, Ashleigh, Michael, Mindy, Cardest, Kelli, Kimberly, Jessica, Donald, Jr., Roxanne, Trista, Richard, Ryan, Rusty, Katlynn, Savannah and Megan; 27 great-grandchildren; 43 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Fischer, three brothers, one sister, parents and one granddaughter.
Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements.
