Following the Thanksgiving holiday, Leland Billie’s second grade class at Park Elementary School in Holbrook noticed that a food drive had not yet taken place, so the students decided to collect food on their own. The class collected 121 non-perishable food items to donate to the local food bank this holiday season.

Park Elementary School is now following their lead and honoring the memory of teacher Jennifer Good, who for years led the students in collecting food for the less fortunate. Please help the students to make this the most successful food drive ever by donating food items through Friday, Dec. 16.
