Candidate packets for the upcoming recall election in Holbrook will be available for the public beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8. The deadline to return the packets is 5 p.m. on Sept 7. Packets can be picked up at the Holbrook City Offices, located at 465 N. First Ave. Voter registration deadline for the election is Oct. 8. The recall election will be held on Nov. 6 and is for the positions currently held by Mayor Bobby Tyler and Councilman CJ Wischmann. To be eligible to serve, candidates must have resided in Holbrook for two years by the date of the election. The terms for both offices will be until the May 17 election.
