Exploration drilling has begun on a potential oil well 15 miles north of Holbrook. Triomphe Energy, LLC of St. George, Utah, is hoping to strike oil on land owned by the Jeffers Partnership. CBM Partners Corporation of Flora Vista, New Mexico, is conducting the drill program that is planned to sink 3,000 feet into the earth’s surface.
