We are sad to announce the passing of Marcelino Luna Reyes, who was born to Alfonso and Belen Luna on April 26, 1936, in Nombre De Dios, Texcalillo, Durango. Marcelino passed away on Feb.7, 2023, at his home in Holbrook surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 86. Marcelino is survived by his wife, Maria Luna Valles; four daughters, Veronica, Consolacion (Conny) and Elda, Maribel; and sons, Juan Antonio and Juan Marcelino. Marcelino loved spending time with all his family and enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Aside from being an exceptional farmer, Marcelino was an avid gardener and always had a garden. Services for Marcelino will be held with a viewing from 9 to 9:30 a.m., Rosary from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and Mass from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 18, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook. A luncheon will follow at the Catholic Family Center. Owen Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
