A Show Low man has been sentenced to five years in prison for sexual crimes against children. Cory Spencer, 26, of Show Low pleaded guilty in Navajo County Superior Court to furnishing harmful items to a minor and four counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor. He was sentenced to five years in the Arizona Department of Corrections. Upon release, he must register as a sex offender and follow sex offender rules for the remainder of his life. The arrest came on Nov. 17, 2019, when Navajo County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a male subject that had reportedly taken nude photographs of children. During the investigation, investigators learned Spencer had taken photos of children’s genitals and showed the children nude photos of himself. During a search warrant of Spencer’s phone, additional nude photos of two different children were located.
