The Lobos started the week on a down note losing to Payson at home on Tuesday by a final of 9-5. Payson jumped out early scoring five runs in the top of the first. They added another in the second before Snowflake posted one run in the second. The Lobos cut another run off the lead in the third. Neither team scored in the fourth or fifth, but Payson pushed their lead to 7-2 with a run in the sixth. Snowflake made it a two run game scoring three times in the bottom of the sixth but that would be as close as they would get. Payson added on two insurance runs in the seventh to win the game 9-5.
