The Lobos earned a split in two East Region games played last week. They broke a two-game losing streak on Tuesday night with a road win over Payson by a final of 52-43. Unfortunately for Lobo fans they weren’t able to gather momentum from that win, falling at home to Holbrook on Friday night by a final of 50-42.

Snowflake entered Friday’s contest ranked 23rd in the power point rankings and may need to at least earn a split in their final two games in order to qualify for the post season. They have two tough contests left with both being on the road. After playing at Show Low on Tuesday, the Lobos will wrap up the regular season on the road at Winslow on Friday night. The East Region is not having a regional tournament this year.
