With their football team going deep into the 4A State playoffs Snowflake’s boys basketball team has yet to play a game with many of the football players making up the basketball team.
Despite their football team getting eliminated on Friday night some of those boys will quickly shift gears and take to the hardwood on Tuesday when they travel to Chinle for their first game of the season. Friday night they will host Coolidge. Next Tuesday the team travels to Page before playing in the Holiday Basketball Tournament in Flagstaff next weekend.
Last season the Lobos went 13-5 in regular season games and finished second in the 3A east region with a 6-4 record.
