Snowflake’s boys’ soccer team had a relatively easy week with just one match played on Wednesday. The Lobos welcomed in Round Valley, but they weren’t very gracious hosts sending the Elks home with a 6-1 loss.
That win improved Snowflake’s overall regular season record to 3-2-1. This week will be a bit busier for the soccer team. After facing the Longhorns in Payson today (Wednesday) they will compete in the Old Pueblo Soccer Classic held in Tucson this weekend. Snowflake is slated to play Desert Christian and Bisbee, then will remain in Tucson to play Camp Verde and Page on Saturday.
The Lady Lobo soccer team dropped their only regular season match last week, then went 1-2 at the Thunder in the Dome tournament held over the weekend in Round Valley.
Snowflake fell to the Spartans from Northland Prep on Tuesday by a final of 0-9. That loss dropped their regular season record to 2-4. Playing in the tournament over the weekend they fell to Show Low 1-3 and bounced back with a 3-0 win over Blue Ridge on Friday. Saturday’s only match was a 1-6 loss to Round Valley.
This week the lady’s team returned to regular season action with a trip to Blue Ridge on Tuesday.
