The Lobos bounced back from their three-game skid with three wins last week. Tuesday night they were in Show Low where they came away with a 57-48 region win.

The Lobos led by 4 at the end of the first, but had the tables flipped on them by the Cougars in the second and they trailed 25-18 at the half. In the third, they battled back, retaking the lead at 38-34. In the final frame, they pulled away to get the 9-point win.

Thursday night was a 20-point home-court win over Payson. Both teams struggled to score in the first, which had the Longhorns leading 6-5 at the end of it. Snowflake found their stride in the second, outscoring the visitors by 13 in the quarter to lead by double digits at the half. They played more consistently in the second half with 15 in each of the third and fourth to win the game 52-32.

Hosting Blue Ridge on Friday night the Lobos took care of business with a 58-45 east region win.

With just two weeks and four regular season games left the Lobos find themselves with a 5-2 region record. Alchesay sits on top with a 5-1 mark and Holbrook is a close third with a 4-2 record.

Snowflake was ranked 11th entering the weekend. They are now 13-8 overall and 9-5 in regular-season contests. This week they will be on the road for both games. Wednesday night they travel to face ALA Anthem South and then Friday they will be at a packed house in Holbrook when they take on the Roadrunners.

Next week they close out the regular season with a home game with Show Low on Tuesday followed by a road trip to Blue Ridge on Wednesday.
