Tuesday’s game in Page last week was the only regular season game for the Lobos during the week. The trip north didn’t fare well, with Snowflake coming out on the wrong end of a 48-38 final outcome.
Page led a low-scoring first eight minutes 9-6. The second quarter saw the Lobos hold Page to just 6 points, while on the offensive end, they netted 15 building a 21-15 halftime lead on the road.
Page wiped out that lead in the third, outscoring the Lobos by 11. In the fourth, they extended that lead to 10 for the outcome.
The Lobos play two games this week before the Christmas break. Both games will be at home. Tuesday, they host Tuba City and Thursday night they welcome in the east region for Winslow. The team will play in the Epic tourneys New Years Classic Tournament held Jan. 2-4.
Snowflake is 1-2 in regular season play heading into their two-game homestand this week.
