The Lobos have gotten off to a 1-2 mark to start the baseball season, with all three games played last week. After easily defeating Alchesay on Tuesday, the Lobos fell in Holbrook on Wednesday, then were beaten by Blue Ridge on Friday.
Playing at Holbrook the Lobos knotted the game at 1-1 in the top of the second, then took a one run lead in the top of the fourth, but in each case Holbrook came back with enough runs in the bottom of those innings to keep Snowflake from gaining much momentum. Holbrook led 9-5 after four innings, then each team only scored once leaving the Lobos on the wrong side of a 10-6 final outcome.
Snowflake scored six runs on seven hits and made one error. Holbrook pounded out 12 hits and made no errors in the win.

They added three more in the fourth, and eight in the fifth and final inning in the 24-3 victory.
Snowflake had just four hits in the game while the Yellowjackets pounded out 22 hits to get the win.
