The Lady Wildcats split their two games played last week with a home court 57-21 loss to Mogollon on Thursday backed up by a 31-19 road win at Ash Fork on Saturday. That win over Ash Fork marks the fourth time Joseph City had defeated the Spartans this season with two in regular season action and twice in tournament play. In fact, four of Joseph City’s six wins on the seasons have been at the expense of Ash Fork.
With the split, the Lady Wildcats are now 6-15 overall and 3-10 in power ranked games leaving them well outside the top 16, in 27th position.
Just two weeks remain in the season for the team. After playing at Williams on Tuesday they will host Northland Prep on Thursday.
