Hosting their own invitational meet with 15 other teams last Friday, the Wildcats of Joseph City placed eighth in the boys’ division and fourth in the girls’ events. Show Low took the team title in both divisions. For the boys, Window Rock was second and Round Valley placed third. For the girls, Ganado was second and Window Rock was third.

In the boys’ 100 meter dash, Wryder Richards placed 12th; Max Mosier, 18th; and Joe Burt, 19th.

In the 200 meter dash, Wryder Richards finished ninth; Troy Poudrier, 10th; and Joe Burt, 15th.

In the 400 meter dash, Max Mosier placed seventh; and Stephen Williams, 26th.

In the 800 meter run, Landon Baldwin finished sixth; and Jacob Martin, 24th.

In the 1600 meter run, Brandon Billie finished 16th; Jacob Martin, 32nd; and Kendall Gardner, 33rd.

In the 3200 meter run, Brandon Billie was 19th; and Stephen Williams, 25th.

The quartet of Wryder Richards, Max Mosier, Joe Burt and Conner Neal finished sixth in the 4×100 meter relay with a time of 50.61.

In the 4×400 meter relay, Landon Baldwin, Jacob Martin, Max Mosier and Koby Smith placed seventh with a time of 4:07.

In the shot put, Connor Neal was seventh; Bryson Palmer, 20th; and Adrian Baloo, 21st.

In the discus, Bryson Palmer was 17th; Adrian Baloo, 18th; and Brandon Yazzie, 26th.

In the high jump, Koby Smith placed fifth; Aaron Johnstun, ninth; and Josh Fisher, 12th.

In the long jump, Matt Fields placed third with a distance of 18’9.5”; and Koby Smith, 10th.

In the triple jump, Matt Fields placed first with a distance of 40’7”; and Aaron Johnstun, 10th.

In the girls’ 100 meter dash, Lindi Gardner placed first with a time of 13.66; Amanda Baldwin, fifth in 13.90; and Taylor Elmer, 13th.

In the 200 meter dash, Lindi Gardner placed third; Amanda Baldwin, fourth; and Sarah Layden, 11th.

In the 400 meter run, Lindi Gardner placed second; and Sarah Layden, ninth.

In the 800 meter run, Rachel Layden placed ninth; and Shyann Flake, 12th.

In the 1600 meter run, Alyssa Hutchens finished 21st.

The team of Lindi Gardner, Taylor Elmer, Sarah Layden, and Amanda Baldwin finished third in the 4×100 meter relay with a time of 55.12.

In the 4×800 meter relay, Sarah Layden, Aylssa Hutchens, Rachel Layden and Shyann Flake placed fifth with a time of 11:34.

In the shot put, Katelyn Pugh placed third with a toss of 31’10”; and Scottie Ballew, 18th.

In the discus, Katelyn Pugh placed second with a throw of 105’11”; and Scottie Ballew, 18th.

Alyssa Hutchens finished 12th in the long jump.
