The Lady Wildcats had another rough week leading up to their Christmas break suffering two lopsided home court losses.
Hosting Valley Sanders on Dec. 16, Joseph City gave up 96 points to the Lady Pirates in a 96-17 loss.
Seventeen seemed to be their number of the week, as that is the same amount of points they scored in Thursday night’s home court loss to St. Johns in a 51-17 final outcome.
The Lady Wildcats head into the holiday break with an overall record of 2-11. Their regular season record is 1-4. Following some time off for the holidays, the team will return to action on Jan. 7 when they travel to Heber to face the Mustangs. The following day they will entertain Mayer. On Jan. 11 they are slated to travel to Ash Fork/Seligman, which is the team they earned their lone regular season win against.
