The Joseph City Lady Wildcats went 3-1 last week, moving their regular season mark to 7-6 and leaving them ranked fifth in the 1A rankings at the onset of this week.
The Wildcats won at rival Mogollon last Tuesday, 13-8. That win was quickly overshadowed by a 10-0 shutout loss in Round Valley the next day.
Playing a doubleheader at Mayer on Friday the Cats got back on the good side of the ledger, sweeping both games in commanding fashion. Joseph City won the first game 22-5, then took the second 20-7.
After hosting Mogollon on Tuesday, the Cats will host Show Low on Saturday, April 22. Next Tuesday they play at Williams, then will close out the regular season at Northland Prep on Wednesday.
