The Lady Wildcats of Joseph City split their final two games of the regular season wrapped up the season with an overall record of 12-16.
Last Tuesday they fell to visiting Cibecue, 53-40, then bounced back on Senior Night with a 38-32 win over the Mayer Lady Wildcats.
That win placed them fourth in the 1A Central Region, and they will host either Mayer or Ash Fork in the first round of the region tournament on Thursday, Feb. 9.
The Lady Cats entered this week ranked 19th in power points, and will most likely need to place first or second in the region tourney to qualify for the state tournament.
