The Lady Wildcats have reached the Christmas break with an overall record of 1-7. Their final game before the break was a 52-34 home court loss to Cibecue on Dec. 19.
Their record leaves them in 34th position in the AIA power rankings meaning they have a lot of work to do in January and February to make the post season.
Beginning on Dec. 28 they will have a chance to work on their game with action in the Yvonne Johnson Memorial tournament held in Camp Verde.
The Wildcats are slated to face the host team Camp Verde that morning. Joseph City joins seven other teams at the tournament.
On Jan. 4 the Lady Cats will resume regular season action with a trip to Flagstaff to face Northland Prep. On Jan. 9 they will host Mayer.
