By Greg Perkins The Lady Wildcats dropped their first two games of the season last week but picked up their first win over the weekend. Playing in Williams on Thursday, the Lady Cats came out on the wrong end of a 58-39 outcome. On Friday they were in St. Johns where they battled tough against a solid Redskin team but came up short in a 46-32 final score. Joseph City had trimmed the St. Johns’ lead to single digits late in the second half showing vast improvement over last year’s team. Playing their third game in a row on Saturday, Joseph City was rewarded with a 53-12 home court win over visiting North Valley Christian Academy. This week the Lady Cats are scheduled for four more games. After hosting Mogollon on Tuesday, they will welcome in Ash Fork on Wednesday. On Friday they travel to Cibecue, then Saturday will wrap up a busy week with a home game against Northland Prep.
