Friday’s home game against a Joseph City team, which is struggling mightily, was a nice reprieve for the Roadrunners. Holbrook had just two regular season wins prior to that game and they needed the win to boost their power points a little bit, hoping to climb into the top 24 in the rankings to make the play-in games for the state tournament.

With the game knotted at 2-2, the Longhorns opened things up scoring four times in the bottom of the fourth. They added five more in the home half of the sixth to win the game 11-2.
