The Snowflake Lady Lobos won the regular season basketball crown, then backed that up by winning the region tournament title last Saturday night with an impressive performance against Alchesay in the championship game.

A first round bye put the Lady Lobos against Payson in semifinal action on Friday and they had little problems with the Lady Longhorns, winning the game 48-24. Snowflake jumped out to a big first period lead and led by more than 30 in the third before cruising home to the win.

Reagan Godfrey led the team with 14 points. Devrie Woodside added 11, Natalie Elkins and Alex Merrill each netted 9, Brylee Copeland hit for 3 and Tara Nezzie added 2.
